The Heroic act of Loyal and True:

Jerry Mathers at the Golden Globes Awards |
"I had always wanted a dog like Rin Tin Tin and my parents did find a German Shepherd from his bloodline when I was around 6 years old. He was a wonderful animal and we named him Ron Ton Ton. He was very devoted to our family. About 4 years after we got him the forced air heater in our house caught fire and no one woke up. Ron Ton Ton slept by the front door and he ran through the flames in the hallway and woke up my father. We all got outside safely and the fire department said that if the dog had not awakened my dad when he did, we probably all would have died from smoke inhalation. We were grateful for the heroic act of our wonderful companion and enjoyed many more years with our furry friend!"

It goes to say, a dog is Loyal and True. Give him a home, a warm bed and some food and he is dedicated to you for life.
